Javea is located on the eastern tip of the Spanish peninsular on the Northern Costa Blanca. It is a destination favoured by Spanish and other Europeans for it´s fantastic climate, which provides hot summers and mild winters. Yet, there is abundance of greenery due the slightly cooler temperatures and a little more rain than its southern neighbours. Javea is an all year-round town with local Spanish and the great mix of British and many other European nationalities that have made it their home. Everything is open all year and there is as much to do in the winter for the locals as there is for the tourists in the summer months. It is a family town with two renown international schools as well as several Spanish schools where the students are not only Spanish but come from all over the world.

The Old Town is the place to go for the main Javea Fiestas, renown for their crazy partying, jumping fires and generally having fun and causing mayhem! This happens around the middle of June and ends on the day of San Juan 24th June. The old town is the historic centre of Javea and you will find lovely cobbled streets with traditional townhouses, tapas bars and shops. There is a market every Thursday where you can purchase a huge array of fresh seasonal products.

Javea is not all about eating and drinking, there is a large selection of sports and activities on offer. Every water sport you can imagine - paddle boarding, surfing, sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing, diving, kayaking, swimming and much more. There is also the David Ferrer tennis club with it´s many courts, restaurant, gym and pool. Moving here with children there is a wonderful children’s football club, as well as gymnastics, judo, dance, basketball and many more activities and clubs for children.
